October is not only about Halloween. Other cultures (like the Mexicans) celebrate a similar tradition. It is called Día de los Muertos. The Twin Oaks Branch of the Austin Public Library has prepared an event for those who celebrate this important tradition. Dia de los Muertos: Sugar Skulls features fun activities for the entire family. It is open to the public, but recommended for children ages 6-10.
