Georgetown Loop Railroad

Nestled high up in the Rocky Mountains, the Georgetown Loop Railroad is just forty-five miles from Denver and offers spectacular year-round views of the mountains. Visitors will feel like they took a step back in history to a time when the railroad ruled, mining was a common way of life, and outlaws ruled the west. This fascinating history and much more are all part of the experience! Pair your railroad loop with a mining tour for a full day of educational fun! The train ride lasts about an hour and 15 minutes, pair it with a mine tour and it’s about a two and a half hour experience.
