The Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO) presents its annual Halloween Children’s Concert in Dell Hall at the Long Center. The concert features symphonic music that is both visually and audible stimulating for children ages 4-11! For this year’s event, the ASO will present “The Composer is Dead,” a murder-mystery collaboration between composer Nathaniel Stookey and children’s author Lemony Snicket. Before the concert (at 2:00 p.m.), there will be other activities for kids to enjoy, like crafts, games, an instrument petting zoo, and more! This Halloween event for kids in Austin is fantastic because there will be an award for the scariest, most original, and best-dressed Dead Composer costume!
