When visiting the Austin Nature and Science Center in the search for dinosaur material, go straight to the outdoor paleontology exhibit called Dino Pit.

The life-size dinosaurs at this outdoor museum show skin and color variations to understand what they looked like when they existed.

Walk along a nature trail and discover dinosaurs among plants, trees, and rocks. Families can also enjoy fossil-dig, a playground, and a dinosaur store!

At The Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country, visitors will see model dinosaurs, over 200 dinosaur tracks, 28 separate trackways made approximately 110 million years ago, and more!

The footprints and trackways are part of the early Cretaceous period in the upper Glen Rose Formation.

When visiting the Texas Memorial Museum, go straight to the Hall of Geology and Paleontology on the first floor to find dinosaurs exhibits, fossils, plants, and the amazing Paleo Lab!
