About Austin Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

At The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, you will be amazed by 284 acres of cultivated gardens, an arboretum, natural areas, and wildlands that straddle the Edwards Plateau and Texas Blackland Prairies ecoregions.
The Austin Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center’s purpose is to conserve native plants, create sustainable landscapes, and conserve resources and that is reflected in its landscapes and buildings
If you visit the Gardens with your family, make sure you stop by the Luci and Ian Family Garden! The 4-4 acre garden connects children and families to the natural world with many interactive and educational features made of natural materials.
